Mike, for some reason March 3rd on my homepage is red one minute, then next time I look at it (having clicked off my home page and then returning to it) it's green! I ate all my maintenance calories that day but didn't go over (went over on sodium though). It's very strange and it's been doing that all day. Any idea what's up with that? ... |

USAndyD | I have posted several times about how I try to do a very low fat percentage eating plan.
I am succeding!! The only red on my home page is the line that shows I am just under what my fat percentage should be. It is taking a while to make up for the Green Day Challenge but is slowly getting to where I want it to be.
The other good indicator is that my weight loss is on target with my calorie intake.
Remember to look at the whole picture and not just calories! ... |

USAndyD | One of the greatest things about NM (other than the people) are the analysis tool at your fingertips.
If you really want to get a handle on dreaded Sodium you need to really see where it is coming from. Here's how:
On your Home Page (which are your averages for the last 13 days) click on the word Sodium in the lower right. You will be taken to an in depth analysis of where your Sodium has been coming from for those 13 days. It even lists the foods in rank order from highest Sodium contributor to lowest.

USAndyD | I just checked my home page and everything is totally GREEN!! Even the percentages of Fat, Protein and Carbohydrates are so close it is downright scary!
Three months and 10 days into this fabulous new way of eating and living and I am really getting it.
Now, this may be an oversimplification but it is how I look at it at this point....
You set goals that challenge you but aren't impossible...eat the right foods, in the right quantities for you to meet your goals, add exercise that pushes you but is physically possible for your individual condition and use the tools ... |
