 Yes, believe it or not, it's over. The Green Day Challenge is done. Would you believe that there were so many Green Days that my Printer ran out of GREEN? It’s true, so the colors of the Final Graph are a bit off, but then jc says so am I.
Enough of that; the teams in the post are in Green Day Average from the Highest down. Their GDA's are BOLD. A special Congratulations to the Cupcakes, 1st, Poseidon, 2nd and Kermit's Krew, 3rd.

USAndyD | I had adjusted my fat percentage for the Green Day Challenge (there were a few of us who did) and a few days into it commented on how the extra fat didn't seem to be working out for me.
For the last two days I have adjusted it back and can really feel the difference tonight. For the last two days my fat grams have dropped from the 20's and 30's to arund 15 grams. I have a lot more energy and my "body" feels right.
I believe it was lmatava who also had voiced a similar concern and I wonder... ... |

In Week 2 the Cupcakes had 6.2737 GDA. So much for a perfect score. The Foxies have a Green Day Average of 6.3392, the highest so far. The Green Goddesses have 6.2618 GDA and that makes them the MOST IMPROVED so far. Those luscious Mermaids have a GDA of 6.1777 making them the second MOST IMPROVED. Kermit’s Krew dropped to 5.8330 GDA but that’s the smallest drop so far only 0.167 of a day. That would make them the MOST CONSISTENT. I’m sure the numbers and places ... |

bassoonist | Hi Veggie Team and anyone else who cares to read. I am still sick but this time I think I am getting a sinus infection. I felt pretty good yesterday, then this morning it slammed me again. Extreme fatigue like I've never been tired before. I've had an acute sinus infection before (my dad gets them all the time, maybe it's hereditary?). Not something that should go on someone's "Must Experience" list.
I thought I would give you all a heads up as to why I have not been logging. I will try logging tomorrow. Let's see what happens......

Just got a great suggestion from Captain PuraVida that, due to the weekend and people catching up on their logs, we change the check in day to Tuesday. The week will still run from Monday thru Sunday but hopefully everyone will have caught up with their logging and the Captains won’t have to do their jobs twice.

USAndyD | I have a slight problem, and it is about NM and the Green day Challenge.
I have adjusted my percentages at the beginning of the month to the default levels in order to try and be completely green for the challenge and I am really not comfortable with how I feel.
I looked at my stats for this month so far and my average fat grams are at 36g. When I look at Sep and Aug they were 26g and 20g respetively. That means an average gain of 16g of fat per day or a monthly equivalent of 480g of fat.

Here is the situation: with the green day challenge, I started bringing my own lunch in order to control foods for lunch at work. This so far involves bringing some veggies and gluten based burgers which taste nice, have lots of protein but are quite high in cals. Original settings are Carbs 45 to 65%; Fats 20 to 35%; Protein 10 to 35%. All of your numbers fall within the recommended amounts but you don't get Red/Green feedback, just %.  Caterpillars, I found this poem online. there's was no author listed, so I can't give the proper credit. I had to read a few times, thinking it was a bit odd ... but then I'm not a poet. Anyway, I think it has a good message. Hope you like it.
