CFWells | My hubby's boss raises chickens, and also gives us eggs. He gave us 5 baby chicks at Easter (for my 4 year old granddaughter) to raise for 3-4 months. I tell you what, I've gotten so attached to these chickens that I'm considering keeping them. We keep them and the coop in a fenced area in our back yard, and once in a while one will fly out.
