Oatmeal vs cream of wheat

I want to like oatmeal, I really do but no matter how I make it I end up choking down the last few bites...I just can't eat it...I do try to eat it once in awhile....what about cream of wheat? Is it just as good for you as oatmeal? I tasted it today and like it so much better than oatmeal...someone PLEASE tell me it is good to eat cream of wheat....thanks for the help
