 female, 45 years old | June 30, 2009, 7:25 am Goin' to San Diego!!I'm really getting excited now! I leave for San Diego on Friday to spend an extended holiday with my son who's stationed at Miramar. I'm so antsy, it's hard to focus on anything else right now (I should be working...oy!)Anyway, I was looking for great walking trails. I'm sure the base is fine but nothing like an ocean view! I would love to walk the route for the walkathon but don't know my way around. Any input and directions would be much appreciated! Plus it would be so funny to see his face when I say..."I know of this great place..." AND...What would be the one thing that I just shouldn't miss? Zac has tickets to Sea World, we are driving up to see the sequoias (sp?), we are going to watch fireworks on the Midway...I would love local recommendations!
