Adventures in Web Serving — Update

Well that was a fun day.

I don't even know how to begin to tell you all we've been through since about 6 a.m. this morning, but I'll just summarize by saying that we're finally on our new web server, a few days earlier than our much-delayed plan.

Whoopee?

Anyway, there are still problems, mainly this: Most of you can't log into the site.

As a temporary fix, you can try issuing a new password here:

Password reminder page

One caution with this, though: If you don't have access to the email address associated with your NutriMirror account, this will send your new passwords off into the ether, making it very difficult to get back in.

Also, if you do issue a new password, it's likely that you'll need to do it again within a day or two when I can get the people managing the new server to make some necessary adjustments.

I'll finish up and finally get some sleep now with this: While it's exciting to be on the new server, it's likely not a magic bullet for fixing every problem we've had. But it gets us a lot closer to where we need to be. So I'll say again what I've said so many times before and what I know I'll have to say again:

Thank you all so much for your patience!

UPDATE — That was quick (sort of): The password issue has been resolved, so you no longer need to have a new password issued in order to access the site. However, if you already issued a new password, then it's likely you'll have to do it again now ...
