AOL is again making it difficult for us to correspond with our members, so our emails to you have bounced back to us. To answer your questions:

1) There's a difference between foods that are called Favorites and the New Foods you add to the database. You can edit any New Foods that you have added by returning to the New Food page and clicking on the name of the food in the list. Favorites are simply foods that you have marked for easy access on the Add To Log page. You can't edit the nutritional value of a Favorite unless it is a food listed on your Add To Log page.

2) The maintenance notice that you occasionally see is not something that we have any control over, and it is not a planned system outage. Generally this is a short-term issue, and if you reload your page you will often find that your previous request (adding your New Food data, for example) will go through as requested.
