Girls on the Run 5K St. Louis
I wanted to invite all NM to the Girls on the Run Race next weekend in St. Louis in Forest Park. 9AM by the Muny. This is a great program for girls. See the site www.girlsontherunstlouis.org.

The race is a sight to see, all the girls of various ages running together. I get goosebumps just thinking of it. My team is one of the few middle schools that participates and we have a blast. The program is for girls in grades 3-8.

Also, they leave room at the front of the race for competitive runners.

Jamaica I hope you specifically can come. ...

Sodium and Home Page Maintenance
I have been in maintenance for almost a year now, Thanksgiving will be my anniversary. I am not too good with sodium (ever), microwave popcorn and dill pickles get me daily, if its not that it is soup. Most everything else stays green. I air pop when I can, but it is not possible at work. If anyone has ideas on this i'd love to hear them, or if you know of low sodium micro popcorn.

But I have this thing with myself that I want only 3 red days in my rolling 14 days at the top. Which I guess ...

air popped vs microwave popcorn
Ok, my question is: From what I can tell, air pop popcorn is 31 cals a cup, and some 94% fat free microwave popcorn is 15-20 cals for a cup popped. How is this possible? Because it surely has added ingredients, even if it is light.... Any ideas? ...

Fruits and Veggies
I eat alot of both everyday, and I wonder if I am using the food log correctly. My specific question is When I am measuring or weighing fruits and veggies, do I include the peel or just the edible portion?

In the Food log, is that measurement for a small banana weighed and measured before its peeled or after? I guess it is not that huge a difference, but I eat an orange, or banana every day right now. So maybe over time it could add up?... ...
