NutriMirror Staff![]() male, 68 years old fallbrook, CA | NutriMirror NewsNovember 2, 2009, 9:38 am Bonus Sunday Winner: GeorgiaeIt was a tough choice (there are so many excellent posts to consider). It fact, this choosing thing is taking a toll on me. I'm losing hair I can no longer afford to lose. So, I'm handing off the selection reins to younger, stronger, abler hands than my own through the rest of the year. However, I just had to make this last "bonus" award for Sunday posts.------------------------------------- Georgiae says "I didnt meet my goal, but that's ok". She's still pounds from the ideal weight goal she imagined for herself. However, she's feeling great about hersef and is quite comfortable living in her new body and is feeling no stress about her choice to manage MAINTENANACE for awhile. Congratualtions, Gerogiae. You set a great example and have a tremendously psitive atitude about this journey we all share with one another. Perfection is not the goal we need to pursue. Close is good enough. And, it's certainy better than what we left behind. Give your color and size selection and shipping information at: info@nutrimirror.com. Put "shirt winner" in the subject line. ------------------------------------------------ Her post follows: Didn't meet my goal, but that's ok I haven't logged in my journal for a few weeks. I reached 136 last week and measure 28.5" waist and 36.25 hips. Last week I had three red days on my home page - one was by 1 calorie, so I'm not bent about that. I realized something last week - I have defaulted to maintenance mode, and you know what? I'm totally ok with that. My goal was 130 lbs, and I really don't care if I reach it. I have lost 5" off my waist and 6" off my hips. I don't jiggle anymore and friends and family immediately notice the difference. I feel great. I'm still making good food choices - most of the time, bar season openers for the Warriors (3 beers - eek!) and Halloween! - and watching the weight loss calories. I will address the last 5 pounds after the holidays. My new goal is to watch the measurements to maintain those, and I feel the key to that is sodium and sat fat. I have always struggled with these and right now the sodium is out of control on my home page. Also, exercise is key for me. I seem to eat 1400-1600 cals a day, even with my new good eating habits in place. If I eat less than that, I'm hungry and bad habits start coming through. If I miss exercise, I go red. I was at a horse show last weekend, my first in two years. I really worked hard and by the third day I was beat. I also think I strained a muscle in my groin, so I have been taking it easy at the gym and skipped last Friday after restraining it in a riding lesson on Thursday. A red day resulted from that. Again, I'm just ok with this. My measurements did go up today, but I think it was from not drinking much water yesterday and the goodies at Halloween. I want to thank Nutrimirror and everyone here for making it seem so simple to drop 15 pounds and 11 combined inches off my frame. I'll try to post a new pic to show my progress! I'm not leaving, but instead will be hapily in maintenace mode for the next few months.
