Sun. Winner:

Jannie2 is Sundays winner. Her post is below the broken lines.

Even though she's losing faster than we normally recommned it was her realization that there is "a liftime to go" that caught my attention and made me smile. The fact that she has lowered her sodium so much told me she is focused on making the right choices.

Then, when I looked at her food logs I thought, "by jove, she's got it". She's spreading her calories pretty evenly throughout the day, eating LOTS of food (calories), and is most always close to balance.

It's certainly worth a t-shirt to remind everyone that this IS a lifetime journey. And, when we discover that joy in the choices that make us balanced is possible, success is likely.

Congratualtions, Jannie2.

Today is my 3 monthversary with NM!!:)
Although it hasn't always been easy, this has been so much better than I could ever have expected. Not only have I learned to be green, I've made so many friends here in the journal room. Sometimes I think, what would "NM member(fill in the name)" do? Then I think, "I have to call them". Now, I don't know anyone's number and only a few NM members real name but I do feel like you all are my friends. I am grateful to have this site and all of you to get my laughs, inspiration and questions answered!!:D
So in 3 months I have lost 45 pounds which is great, but I am most impressed with getting my sodium down from 140% to drumroll........94% as of today. I am positive that it will get even lower as the months roll by!
Thanks again and as my title suggests, 3 down and a lifetime to continue along this healthy journey!!
