Sad 'so long' to Andy

Good morning, my dear, sweet family!!!

I just saw Andy off on his journey this morning, and I am so sad. Thought I would post this so I can take my mind off him leaving for a while.

We had such a wonderful visit, as he has already told you part of. He stayed over one extra night, partly because of the weather and partly so we could visit and hug some more. I think we overdid the hugging, way more than was requested of us. The rest of them, the extras, I’m claiming for myself. He is such a sweet and caring man, and seemed to really enjoy our visit.

We got some shopping done on Monday and had lunch at Whole Foods salad bar, then came home and visited and caught up on some posts and comments. It was so great to have someone to talk about NM with and log our food together. We discussed lots of people that are on NM, and just thoroughly enjoyed being with each other. He camped in my living room last night, since I don’t have a spare room for him to use. Said he slept pretty well. Then we had breakfast, he packed up, and off he went, and if I had some beer, I would be crying in it. I miss him so much already!!!! Even though he was here for such a short time, I felt like he belonged here. But he had ‘travel lust’, so off he went.

I know all you others are looking forward to his visit, and I know you will enjoy it as much as I did mine. Well, maybe not quite as much!! He told me he would definitely stay in touch, and Andy, you’d better!!!!

I wrote this just after he left, but my computer has been down, so couldn't post it, but here it is.
