![]() female, 31 years old | About MeSpring of 2008, I decided to live healthier. I quit drinking soft drinks, started watching what I eat, and started exercising daily. I have a personal goal that I have to at LEAST get a 1/2 hour walk in every day - - for the rest of my life! The change was easier because my husband had already decided to get healthy too. So we do not keep junk in the house (because I have no will power!) and our whole family is on board with healthier meals.July 2009 I started P90X, an intense workout program. So now I don't get a 1/2 hour walk in every day, but I try to walk a few times per week in addition to all the cardio and weight training included in P90X. It is going great! I have a passion for all things nutrition. I like to read up on anything having to do with nutrition. I also work for a USDA Food Program Sponsor. I go around to in-home daycare providers and monitor food program regulations. So that fits in nicely with my passion for nutrition. My GoalsSo far I have lost about 45 lbs. I'd like to lose maybe 5 more lbs. and then evaluate if that is a good weight for my body type.My goal is to be healthy and have lots of energy! I want to be a healthy 89 year old some day! :) |
