A couple of folks were very complimentary in my apperance, and wanted to know what Diet I was on. I told them about it and that I would send a link when I returned to my office. By the time I returned to my office, I had a reminder email sent. I replied with a link, and what I thought was a great explaination to NM for me. I thought I would share.

continue reading 8 comments September 22, 2009, 11:51 am Well I blew it... | Golf Outing on sunday lead to too many beers in the bar afterwords, not enough food... And a bad monday..I don't know why, but when I have a yucky stomach I crave all things I shouldn't have. It's the only thing that sounds good. McDonalds, ice cream, candy bars... I haven't weighed myself but I am sure I rendered any excercise received from golfing 18 holes, useless.
The good news, I am okay. I am feeling much better today, and back to a healthy eating style again. I am okay with my one day binge. I think it's because I ... |
continue reading 3 comments August 27, 2009, 8:59 am My banana saved me! | So I walk into work today, and one of the other ladies on my floor, baked brownies, and lemon bars. Big ol pans full. I say that's okay, I have a very delicious fiber bar that will help. Then my morning meeting walked in with 2 dozen doughnuts from a local bakery. I mean who does that... I didn't hear a word he said. A voice in my head kept saying. "MMMMM doughnuts, they sure do smell good." So the meeting finished, I suppose I heard a little, but the first thing I did, was get the doughnuts out of ... |
continue reading 9 comments August 5, 2009, 8:15 am Oh NM how I need thee! | So went camping with the family, and met other family there. I did great, except not remembering my vitamins, and not eating enought fruits and veggies - then I got home yesterday exhausted, and started eating like no tomorrow. Oh the shame. It was bound to happen eventually. I just hope all the extra exercise from walking and playing with the kids helps me to balance yesterday out a little. I am afraid to look...
I am not too sad it happened, because I want to learn how to balance my eating. I am sad when and how it happened though. ... |

My original date for 180 was 9-5-09. I hit 179 this morning 7/29/09. And I feel GREAT. I am eating the right stuff at the right amounts, and this is great.
Thanks to everyone's support and suggestions, and always thanks again NM. What an amazing tool...

I am used to taking a multi-vitamin to help balance everything out, when a couple of days ago, I was trying to manage vitamin intake with food alone and had total cereal for breakfast then continued with my routine when I realized I also took my multi-vitamin---WHOA! I got a super dose that day.
I really wanted to make sure I hadn't done too much damage and found this site.

I am learning with my healthy lifestyle, that I have plenty, I just need to learn how to pay attention to what I have instead of focusing on what I don't have. I found this post today and thought enough of it to share with my NM family.
