About Me

My nane is Suzette (or suziqz on here.) This is my first day, and so far I'm finding this interesting and maybe even kind of fun. (When I was younger, I could eat anything I wanted and not gain weight. I started drinking beer to help me gain even tho I did not like it.)
I have a gym membership, but due to tough economic times have not been going. (since Nov)I'd really like to get back there soon. I used to go for 2-3 hours per day/3 days per wk.

My Goals

I'm 47 and I weigh about 173. I was happy at 153, and would like to at least get back there, but my long term goal is 140-145. I don't want to be skinny, just healthy & happy in my skin.
According to my calorie counter, I'm approx. 600 calories under what I'm allowed to maintain my weight. I want to loose 2 lbs per week, which sounds more than do-able-but apparently that is not the healthy way to go. So I'm sticking to the rules at 1.1 lbs per week. Wish me luck.
