![]() female, 56 years old | July 16, 2009, 8:37 am Scale Free, Number Free=FREE!!!The following words are just personal reflections about myself. I am not recommending this for anyone. However, if what I am learning motivates someone out there, then let it be.It has been 4 days that I have not looked at the scale. I have tried to break free so many times before. This time I am starting to really feel good about it. I noticed, I am less stressed. I feel good about myself. I also have stopped worrying about how many calories I am burning and I have not measured myself for the last four days. So, the only numbers, that relate to weight, in my life for the last four days, are the ones where I measure my food, count my calories, and check my blood pressure. In fact, I find those are the most important numbers for making sure I am on track with my health. Now that I am maintaining my weight, I am no longer worried about losing any more weight. As long as I watch the calorie and food measurement numbers and exercise, the weight will take care of itself. I am going to try to weigh once a week, starting the first of August. Right now I am going to work on freeing myself from the obsession of weighing and measuring myself by not doing it until August 1. I know I said this before, but this time I believe I can do it. I am really happy with my green life--that is my focus.
