| About MeActually I have been on this journey since 2000. I started at 279 pounds. I got down to 199 December of 2001. However, I gained and went back up to 269, during that time I did Weight Watchers and Atkins. I lost with these diets, but would go off and then gain, thus ending up at 269 pounds.
I found a site called Sparkpeople.com. Through this site I lost 102 pounds. I learned alot about health and eating through this site. In addition, Sparks strength is its social network. This gave me the 24/7 support I needed.
It was not until I found Nutrimirror that I understood the science of calories in-calories out. I used to think that overeating one day made me gain weight. However, seeing the graphs and seeing what exercise does with calories has given me a new lease on my weightloss stuggle.
UPDATE: Before the 2009 holidays, I was 165, size 8/10. After I gained a little weight, but I am not weighing myself until I can fit into the dress in my profile again. Through this site, I am l
