 Carla and anyone else who likes fruit salad!!!
I still had several of those tangerines left.
I peeled them and put the pieces in a bowl in the fridge. Oh they are so cute! They would be great for a little girl playing with dolls and having a tea party or pretending to make a meal.
Any way I know they are a litte tart and I wanted to use them in a fruit salad for dinner.
I was thinking what could I add to the tangerines for a bit more sweetness and then I saw that Mexican Chocolate! WOW this adds the perfect ... |

 OMG I have finally logged my food to the best of my memory for the 10 days of vacation!
The verdict:
4 red days,
4 green days
2 days with only one red bar.
*** NOT BAD for a free for all ride! ***
This could have been a much worse outcome!
I could have been RED for most of the trip.
My jeans may not have still fit me by the end of this trip. =D
All those months of logging my food sure does help. Visiting with NutriMirror friends is a bonus too. They have your backside covered while you are with them!

 SWEET SWEET JOY!
I just received my package from Carla and in it were the 8 avocados that Jim Ray went into his garden the day I left and picked for me. Oh how WONDERFUL fresh avocados from Jim and Pam's garden! This has got to be some of the BEST FAT in the whole world. =D
I just ate 55 grams of avocado from the perfectly ripe, love filled, nutritious and most delicious avocado ever!
55 grams of bliss! *I am in heaven.*
Devoured with a couple of tortilla chips and 3 bean salsa. YUMMY.

Jim is taking the pics, and we are cracking up.
I had a delightful time with Pam & Jim. Dinner was delicious and the conversation lively and fun. Pam made an incredible scrumptous salad to go with the wonderful meal! YUMMY. Their home is lovely and their views are breathtaking! They have some amazing gardens as well. I only wish that my visit was longer!

 Sweet Joy!
What a fabulous setting when dining at La Hacienda in Escondido California.
This is the restaurant Carla took me to for lunch. It is so beautiful, peaceful and serene. The gardens and patio are gorgeous. We ate some amazing food there. The whole grain tortilla chips came with 4 different colors of salsa all quite different in taste and spice.
We had a couple gallons of their delicious iced tea. Carla what was that iced tea?

 YUMMY.
OMG Czoerun and Cactusman's front yard is mostly full of fruit trees with bounties of delicious colorful juicy fruit just waiting to be picked and devoured!
Their front yard has several sections the cactus garden, the low cactus walkway garden the flower & wild flower garden and the side garden....plus this huge section which is like having a "Heavenly EmergenC Garden!"
Papertowels and wetwipes necessary these oranges are JUICY!
Thanks Carla those are the most delicious sweet juicy oranges I have ever tasted and having some on the plane....priceless! =D ... |

Here we are in the m.o.m shop. Look how cute it is! Their shop is inside a one car garage space in the middle of all the lovely shops in Encinitas California. With warm hugs, fun conversations and a delicious lunch, a great time was had by all! Bethany and Tere are very fond of the bread at the place we ordered lunch from and now I know why! That bread is delicous and addicting. The combination on the sandwich, YUMMY.

 Carla kept saying to me "I have to take you to Snake Park!" and the whole time I kept thinking what the heck is a snake park?
Was it a place you petted snakes? hmmmmmm
Any way we went to one of her favorite places to walk and at the end of the path was this beautiful incredible group of huge mosaic statues surrounded by a half wall kind of maze with huge sprawling snakes on the half wall.
This was truely an amazing sight. It sort of reminded me of Alice in Wonderland...lol

 I did so many things and visited with 11 new friends from NutriMirror, 4 family members and my long time friend Donna and family in Glendale, California. We met on the Masters Swimming Team here in Illinois and swam together for several years before my mom got sick. Donna moved to Glendale about 2 years ago. It was so much fun to see my old friend. I tried Steel Cut Oats for the first time at the Beautiful Country Club near Pam & Jim's home.
YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! Served with fresh strawberries, raisins, skim milk and enough brown sugar for an entire family!
The best part...I was having breakfast with Jim & Pam. Jim is quite entertaining telling us some hilarious stories. Delicious coffee and delightful conversation. LOVE it!
An EXCELLENT way to start the day.

 Jim & Pam a huge Thank You from the bottom of my heart for a most MARVELOUS time. From the minute Pam gave me that incredible heart felt hug I felt completely at home with you both. My trip was an adventure and a fun fabulous trip.
I met with family, long time friends, made some new friends and ***I met up with for the first time 11 NutriMirror friends*** all in 10 days via 5 flights and a car rental!

Joyce & Sue drove west and my friend Donna & I drove east and we met for lunch in Arcadia at an American/Asian restaurant.

How do I know NM is getting credit for my order?
I pressed on 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth and it went straight to my husband's account and I did not see any reference to NM.
How do I do this correctly and where do I look to make sure NM is getting the credit?

If your going to Trader Joe's that chili lime grilled chicken is great! It is in strips already cooked with not too much sodium and tastes delicious. I also tried their deli Mild Salsa low sodium as well. This is so fresh with pieces of cilantro in it! So Good...I did slurp the juice off my plate. =D

Thank you NutriMirror! You are so amazing. I have been on maintenance since Dec 30 and it is so GOOD! I love how I feel, how I look, how healthy I am and how I have this tool to keep it that way. Awesome. I have lost 2 more pounds while in maintenance. I weigh a sweet healthy 125 now. I am so grateful for this web site and all the new friends I have made on my journey.

I think it would be a nice feature if "favorites" was listed in the data base under subcategories as well. Then I could find my favorites by the type of food along with the choice we have now for the alphabetical favorites list and looking for the green highlights. Sweet.

It is not my favorite of things to do....lol

My clothes fit beautifully. My weight is not fluctuating very much. I am loving how I look, how I feel, the size I am and the weight I am.
But honestly measuring is not favorite thing to do! I would much rather dance in the mirror for joy because my body is beautiful, healthy, full of energy, vitality and flexibility! ... |
